Policies

We understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness to both our drivers and passengers, we have established the following cancellation policy:

1. Standard Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 60 minutes before the scheduled pickup time will not incur any charges.

Cancellations made within 60 minutes of the scheduled pickup time will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the estimated fare.

If the driver has already arrived or is en route and the ride is canceled, a full fare may be charged, depending on the distance already traveled.

2. No-Shows
If the customer is not present at the pickup location within 10 minutes of the scheduled time and cannot be contacted, the ride will be marked as a no-show, and the full fare will be charged.

3. Prepaid or Pre-booked Rides
For prepaid bookings or reservations made with a credit card, refunds will follow the same structure as above, minus any processing fees.

Cancellations made less than 1 hour before the scheduled pickup for long-distance or airport rides may be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.

4. Exceptional Circumstances
In case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, public transport shutdowns), cancellation fees may be waived at our discretion. Documentation may be required.

5. How to Cancel
Cancellations must be made by calling our customer support line directly.

1. Cancellations & Refunds
Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a 100% refund.

Partial Refund: Cancellations made within 2 hours of pickup are eligible for a 50% refund to account for driver allocation and time lost.

No Refund: If the driver arrives at the pickup location and the customer is a no-show after 15 minutes, the ride will be marked as non-refundable.

2. Rescheduling
Free Reschedule: You may reschedule your ride once for free, provided it is done at least 1 hour before the scheduled time.

Late Reschedule Fee: Depending on distance and driver availability, rescheduling within 1 hour of the ride time may incur a fee of $50.

No Rescheduling After Pickup Window: Once the driver arrives and waits beyond the grace period (15 minutes), rescheduling is no longer allowed.

4. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
1. Booking Confirmation
All taxi bookings must be confirmed via SMS, email, or phone. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation message with your trip details (pickup location, time, and driver info, if available).

2. Changes to Bookings
If you need to change your booking (time, location, number of passengers, etc.), please contact us at least 2 hours before your scheduled pickup. Changes are subject to availability and may affect pricing.

3. Cancellations

Free cancellation is available at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

Cancellations made within 60 minutes of pickup may incur a fee of up to 50% of the fare at the company’s discretion.

4. No-Shows
If the driver arrives at the scheduled time and location, waits for 15 minutes, and the passenger doesn’t show or respond, the ride will be marked as a no-show, and the full fare may be charged.

5. Delays and Disruptions
We strive for punctuality, but delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen issues. We’ll notify you promptly and work to resolve the delay as quickly as possible.

7. Payment Policy

8. Safety & Conduct

1. Booking and Service

All bookings are subject to availability. Maiasura LLC reserves the right to cancel or decline a booking.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information, including pickup location, destination, number of passengers, and special requirements (e.g., car seat, accessibility needs).

2. Fares and Payments
Fare estimates provided at the time of booking are approximate and may vary based on traffic, route, waiting time, tolls, and surcharges.

Payment is due at the time of booking.

Maiasura LLC accepts cash, major credit/debit cards, and approved digital payment methods.

3. Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time to avoid a cancellation fee.

If a customer is not at the pickup location within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, the booking may be deemed a no-show and subject to full charge.

4. Conduct and Safety
Passengers must behave respectfully and lawfully. Abuse, violence, or damage to the vehicle will result in immediate termination of the ride and potential legal action.

Seatbelts must be worn at all times.

Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or illegal substances are strictly prohibited.

5. Delays and Force Majeure
Maiasura LLC is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, or events beyond its control.

In such cases, the company will make reasonable efforts to minimize inconvenience but offers no guarantee of punctuality.

6. Luggage and Personal Items
Passengers are responsible for their belongings. MAIASURA LLC is not liable for the loss or damage of luggage or personal items.

The driver may refuse items deemed unsafe or excessively large for the vehicle.

7. Liability
MAIASURA LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from using the service.

Our liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount paid for the ride.

8. Driver and Vehicle Substitution
If a driver or vehicle is unavailable, MAIASURA LLC reserves the right to provide a substitute at no extra cost.

All drivers are licensed, and vehicles are insured per New Jersey regulations.

9. Complaints and Disputes
Complaints should be submitted within 48 hours of the service via [contact method].

10. Modifications
