  • Cheese rolling is an unusual British tradition involving a ball of Double Gloucester cheese and a crowd willing to chase it for fun. Every Spring Bank Holiday Monday of the year, the cheese rolling event occurs.
  • Morris dancing is a traditional dance in the United Kingdom. It usually involves dancing with sticks, handkerchiefs, or swords in a style that is depicted mainly by location. This type of dance is typically performed on specific occasions and seasons, such as early summer for Oxfordshire and during Christmas and New Year for Yorkshire.

British Museum
