Unique Customs/Traditions
- The celebration of Sainte Devote is a critical Monaco tradition, observed on January 27th with a cathedral mass, followed by a torchlight procession to Port Hercule. Traditionally, a boat is ceremonially burned on a pyre during the feast, and there is a firework display.
- In the days preceding December 24th, Monaco bakeries offer U Pan de Natale, a loaf of traditional round bread garnished with nuts and an olive branch. It is blessed by either the oldest or the youngest family member and shared at Christmas.
- Saint John’s Day is another important tradition in Monaco, celebrated on June 23rd and 24th with religious services and traditional music and dance over a batafoegu, or bonfire, in the Place du Palais and Monte Carlo’s Place des Moulins.

Monaco Yacht Show

There are over 150 private events throughout the four-day event, including press features conferences, receptions, and product presentations.

Monte-Carlo

The Prince's Palace of Monaco is the official abode of the country's rulers, the Grimaldi family, headed by Prince Albert II, the son of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier. Its origins date back to the early thirteenth century. The Palace has a long history and has been extended and remodeled several times over the centuries.
The Palace is open to the public annually from June to October. The Palace's courtyard has been the setting for open-air concerts by Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra.

A fantastic outdoor theatre, Fort Antoine, is on the northeast bank of Le Rocher and has excellent tourist attractions in Monaco. It was initially built as a military fortress in the early 18th-century. The original ramparts of the 18th-century fort can still be seen, and they have been rebuilt to maintain their authenticity.
The fortress initially occupied about a mile square in size, and its seaward walls are approximately 60 feet (20m) high. It is possible to walk these walls. The fort hosts open-air plays in the summer months, attracting thousands of visitors each year.

One of the world's ancientest aquariums, commissioned by Prince Albert I, great grandfather of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, is the stunning Musée Oceanographique. It is situated in a breathtaking location on Le Rocher, almost 90 meters above sea level. It took 11 years to build in this picturesque museum and aquariums.
The Oceanographic Museum has world-renowned marine science and oceanography exhibits.
