The capital city of Brunei is Bandar Seri Begawan . One of the main distinctions of this city is its port. It is located in the sultanate of Brunei, nestled on the island of Borneo as a tourist attraction that stands out the charm of its flea markets.
It has a small coastal strip towards the South China Sea, and its only neighbor is Malaysia.

- The daily menu in Brunei is consists of rice and curries of vegetables, fish, shellfish, and fruits. Curries of water buffalo, chicken, and beef are consumed on special occasions, while Game birds and animals (especially mouse deer, barking deer, and sambar) are eaten in rural areas.
- Pork products are forbidden to Muslims. There is a wide range of open-air markets and restaurants in the main towns. A popular local drink is iced unripe coconut milk. Coffee is widely consumed; alcoholic beverages are forbidden to Muslims.
- In Brunei, pointing a finger is impolite; instead, use the thumb of your right hand with the four fingers folded beneath it.
- When visiting a mosque, you should always take off your shoes first, and you should not cross in front of a person at prayer or touch the Koran. Women should cover their heads and not have their knees or arms exposed.
- Gifts, particularly food, should only be passed with the right hand, although it is acceptable to use the left hand under the right wrist for support.

Kampong Ayer is one of the largest water settlements in Southeast Asia. Kampong Ayer is home to around 30,000 people, consisting of 42 adjacent stilt villages built along both banks of the Sungai Brunei (Brunei River).

Tasek Merimbun, located in Tutong District, is home to many bird species, including the Great Argus, the Black Crowned Night Heron, and the Crested Serpent Eagle. The S-shaped lake, surrounded by the 7,800-hectare Tasek Merimbun Heritage Park, is also uniquely dark in color, caused by a phenomenon known as ‘tannin,’ due to the leaves falling into the water. Ulu Temburong National Park is perhaps Brunei’s best tourist attraction and the first national park opened in 1991 in Temburong District. The park covers approximately 50,000 hectares of pristine rainforest.
The park is accessed via longboat, and the journey to the park is part of the whole Temburong travel experience. A series of forest trails and plank walkways allow visitors to get the most out of the park.
